The most important benefit in using the digital X-Ray system is that it reduces the radiation by as much as 90 %.  It also allows our dentists the flexibility of manipulating the image of your tooth (zoom in, color, rotate), thus giving them access to very important information about its health and the extent of damage caused by disease (if any). As well as assisting the dentist with the process of collecting more precise information, the digital X-Ray allows you to see what the dentist sees, so it's easier for you to understand your condition and be an active participant in choosing the appropriate treatment.
